comments: I found a book in the loft, it's called Standard Operas by Alfred Devaux. Published by: Cramer, Addison and Beale. I have looked on google and cannot find any hint of what it is or what it's worth, there are around 600 pages of sheet music all for the piano. The cover is in fairly good condition although the leather part at the edge of the book is looking worn and the pages are slightly aged and brown. I am basically looking for any info at all on this. The only date I can find in the book that is written with a fountain pen 1845 with a signiture which I can't read. Thanks

I have not even finished going through them myself. If you are interested in any of these collections or a part of any of them please call me. I'm not on the internet very often so it would be easier to contact me by phone. The number to call is 9210-277-9022. Thanks for looking!

Mum was born in 1914 and learnt to play the piano when she was six years old!! I cannot bear to just throw the music away and would love it to go to a good home. I am currently in the process of making a list of all the titles/composers/etc. Hope to hear from you, Gill

comments: Whilst browsing on ebay I came accross a link to your website and was wondering if you would be interested in buying my large (1000+) collection of sheet music. All the music is mainly from the 1950's and 1960's with artists such as Elvis, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks and many more artists including some rare and obscure ones - I have seen similar ones to mine on your website, so I have researched the value of some of them. I was going to list them all myself but because of the amount of them I havent got the time to do it, I realise that some will be more collectable than others but I do not wish to split them - they have been in storage as one collection for over 20 years and they are in very good condition and i would be looking to sell the whole lot as one lot. If you are interested in doing business, please get back in touch with me, at your conveience - I live in Lancashire so if you wish to view the collection then that can be arranged. Best Regards

comments: I have a large quantity of vintage sheet music - mainly piano scores and including Arthur Sullivan's The Lost Chord by W Kuhe (which has a signature on it) and signed copy of A Lover in Damascus by Amy Woodford-Finden. Also some War -time music and lots of songs from shows etc.. Have some more modern stuff too from when I was at school.

comments: I have a bound volume of 100 original American sheet music, some with engraved title pages. Measuring 10" x 13," these were published betwee 1830s and 1850s. The first score in " The Songs of Jenny Lind." Collection includes Christy's Minstrels, Virginia Serenaders, Stephen Foster, many other. Condition overall is very good, however there are some sheet that have been torn but still intact. This set has been bound in boards. Some of the individual scores have been signed as presentations to individual pianists, etc. A very representative collection of the music of this mid-19th century period.
