An enthusiastic and supportive musician with many years experience of solo, accompaniment and ensemble playing I offer support for exam preparation, accompaniment and choral rehearsals as well as piano tuition in the North Yorkshire, northern Lancashire and northern West Yorkshire areas. Aside from accompaniment I'm an experienced community orchestral conductor, organist, bass-baritone singer and composer. My current appointments include rehearsal director for the Voices of Craven festival and musical direction for the choir of St. Alkelda's church, Giggleswick.

Violin
A single violin is made from over 70 individual pieces of wood. the string tension is around 12 LBS compared to a pianos 160lbs on the steels and 20% more on the wound strings.
