Rieger-Kloss - Anyone heard of it?

Post by Roger »

I have acquired a lovely little (105cm) Riga Kloss upright No. 245164. Very even, european style sound. Anyone else come across these?

Do you mean Rieger-Kloss? They are a Czech firm, and have a website, but I have no experience of them. Riga is a town in Latvia.

You are right (of course) Bill, Rieger-Kloss. I checked out the website, turns out mine is a model called "Attractive" - top marks to their marketing dept!

I should be very interested to try one of the larger models, but have never come across them before.

I have heard of them but I think they mainly cater for the Czech home market.
