Youtube - have you seen it?

Post by PianoFifty »

Not sure how relevant this is to the forum, but have any of you seen the piano performance video clips on Youtube (www.youtube.com)?

I was browsing through the site to see what all the fuss was about - it was sold to Google for $1.6bn last week - and came acroos these videos of Vlado Perlemuter playing Ravel's Garpard de la Nuit on a rather fine Steinway:

Just cut and paste each of the above links into your browser address box - you will need broadband, I think.

The performances are amazing - expecially when you consider that he must have been in his late 80's or even 90's when he made them. There are lots of other interesting piano clips on Youtube as well (Argerich, Horowitz, Rubinstein and Cziffra to name but a few).

Enjoy!
