Age of Clementi Square #22672?

I was curious about the age of a Clementi and Co. square piano serial number 22672. I checked my Michels atlas and this number is close to one listed for 1855. However this piano only has 6 octaves, and one pedal on a fifth leg rather than a lyre. The style looks more like something from the 1820s or 1830s. Did Clementi squares stay pretty much the same through the mid-1800s?

I should add that it would be quite normal for Clementi's successors, Collard & Collard, to produce a 6-octave piano with a single pedal leg in the mid-1800s, unlike american firms. Clementi died in 1832, and the best estimate I can give by the number is 1829. If you have logged in, you can read on...
