The name Lobl is of german origin, and would have had an accent over the O, but in 1913 Oscar Lobl advertised himself as a maker of sewing machines in London. By 1914, he described himself as "Manufacturer and Importer of Vertical and Overstrung Pianos". I'll see what else I can find but photos would help...
