The music sounds like one giant set of improvisations thrown together. Patterns in the music are not recurring replicas but instead have their own little idiosyncracies. It just sounds like an elaborate, uncontrolled, wandering improvisation.

A CP-300 would be fine for your purposes given that an acoustic is out of the question. Bear in mind that the CP weighs some 32 kg which would rule out portability to an extent unless someone else in the house can give you a lift - it is a heavy beast! What is the length of the cavity on the piano? Depending on the model, the lengths can vary. For tone and feel, Yamaha is my first choice: again, depending on the sizing, look at the current P-155 or the P-95. The former has the better keybaord action. Roland FP-7 has recently been replaced by a FP-...

New pianos need time to settle in as well. Shops tend to be cooler and, depending on the shop, either damper or drier than the average household. It's also one of the reasons that you would be told to give your piano at least a f month or two if not more to allow the piano to acclimatise properly. S...

What I mean with bounce is that when I press a key down (especially a black key) and hold it down, I can feel a short series of upward bounces, or pushes if you so will, immediately after having pushed down the key. Yes, this varies from brand to brand - I notice it more on Rolands for some reason ...

Sight reading just develops with your music experience. As you become exposed to various styles of music - or just music in general - as well as doing scales, broken chords, arpeggios, you start to detect patterns in the music. As well looking for scale patterns (ascending and descending) in the pie...

Sight reading is something that people either click with or else they will have a weakness in that area. HOWEVER, the people who can't sight read very well are stronger with improvisation and this is the reverse for people who legally need to follow music in order to play a tune.
