I remember speaking to a tuner in Stuttgart a few years back and he said they only do the extended 100 euro tuning with a clean and a bit of a regulate thrown in. I guess you only need 2-3 jobs a day and you get to work on clean pianos which is nice. :D

Sorry I was working on the basis of it being a drilled frame. I dont go as far as removing the wrest pins if they go through individual holes in the frame. Therefore leaving the wrest plank still attached to the top of the frame.

You need an mover based in Derby and even then this is going to be expensive. You could try the bigger companys but you are going to be paying for 2 blokes and a van for a whole day just for your job. Doing it on seperate days would allow it to be done as a part load which should make it much cheape...

You need a tech to put a lever on the pins but the plank at the very bottom between the pins doesnt look too good to me. It could just be the photo but pay for a tech to check it over first.

You can get the keyboard taken off which should enable youto get through the door. Ive done this once or twice with player pianos. It takes a lot of time and you need someone who knows what they are doing but it is possible even if the cheeks are glued on as well as screwed in place.

If youve got a workshop with a pillar drill and can make up a little jig to hold the desk at the correct angle its a piece of cake, you could drill them all day long with no mistakes.

Check ebay as there are loads on it. Its easy to make the poly case look new and may have been refurbished but thats a very loose term it can be anything from full overhaul to clean keys and replace the nameboard felt.
