I think hes refering to the US not Estonia and the fact that although they ( Estonias) may be rated in the US its not nessesarily a good recomendation for the rest of the world. The US also rate Kimballs and Baldwins which are grim when seen over here.

Go with the Kemble, it will last as long as the Bluthner. How long they last will be dependent on how you look after them ( excluding crapy cheap junk ) Thats a lot of extra money for something that only a bit better.

As the bean counters have such a big say in most institutions I would guess that pound notes ( or lack of them) have most to do with the selection of which piano is used. Even more so when you consider the quantity being purchased at any one time.
