Piano classes in group
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with attending classes (in groups) for piano. Can that work? In London, there are a number of organisations that offer this, such as City Lit or Morley, does anyone have any experience with any of these? Local authorities also offer this, but I am a bit d...

Can you help me?
My long suffering piano teacher has given up in despair and is away to Malasya for a month, so hopefully someone can help me here. So I'd like to learn this bit of simplified Chopin, but I was wondering how this works, look at the screen shot. For the 3rd quaver, you need the C, but are already usin...

Buzzzzz
Hello, I wonder if anyone could explain something to me. I have a new K2 and I am generally very happy with it. However, every now and then, a random key will "buzz" whenever played. This goes on for a few days, and then the buzz disappears, for no obvious reason. Then, say a month later, ...

Great American songbook for beginners
I am aware of lots of books with simplified classical pieces for beginners. I really like these.
However, I do not know any good simplified editions of the early 20th century songs - think "Great American songbook" stuff. Does anybody know?
Thanks,
Bart

Well I finally got my act together and bought a really nice K2. I first asked for advice here in June, guess it took me a while. It should be delivered next week or so and that will be the end of the very old Hsinghai. The B3 that I originally planned to buy is actually not bad, but it does sound a ...

Right, that is useful. So I think what I am going to do is: (1) I am going to discard the Used piano option - I am really not willing to take a 3,000 pound risk with something I do not know much about (2) Visit Jaques Samuels on Edgware Road, as they have both Kawai and Yamaha and play a bit. It wil...

I see that the discussion is going off topic a bit (nothing wrong with that though, it is all very interesting). So, I believe what I have learned so far: * B2/B3 are reasonable pianos * Kawai K2 is perhaps even better and K3 is a real winner (though I suspect quite a bit more expensive) One thing I...

Has anyone seen/heard/played this one? Any feedback?
On paper, seems like very attractive.
