Piano Rental / Piano Hire for the Home - How it works
Home piano rental is perfect for those starting the piano or returning to the piano after a pause.
Our yearly home piano rental charge is based on 3% of the instrument retail price per month with the opportunity at the end of the initial twelve month rental period to purchase at a special price, upgrade or return the piano in good order with no further obligation or retain for a further rental period with only a one month notice period after the first year.
We do rent new pianos however certain instruments are available at beneficial rates including selected ex-rental and second hand upright pianos from as little as £30.00 per month rental with prompt delivery on the completion of documents and payment of £250.00, subject to delivery area and terms and conditions.
Many other makes, models, styles and finishes are available at different levels of rental with a nearly new Monington & Weston and Elysian 108cm modern upright piano at £40.00 per month with the payment before delivery £280.00 or a new Ritmuller 112 modern or Elysian 115 traditional upright pianos in black at £75.00 per month with the payment before delivery being £385.00 (ground floor in London) followed by monthly standing order, please ask for details. Stools may also be rented with the piano or early keyboard instruments but not on their own.
For other areas and delivery outside London or to discuss stairs and difficult access please tell us where you are and if there are any stairs so that we can supply a price.
Rental customers are required to insure the instrument (piano or early keyboard instrument) plus stool that they rent for the full retail price as shown on their rental agreement. This is against all risk. Insurance is not included in the rental agreement. Rental is only available in mainland England.
All rental contracts must be completed and signed at Robert Morley & Co. Ltd. premises in Lewisham, London.
Opportunity to Purchase at Reduced Price at the end of Twelve Months
The piano is offered at the list price at the commencement of the rental from which the equivalent of 6 months rental payments (e.g. 6 x £30.00 = £180.00) plus half the transport charge (£80.00) is deducted. Alternatively the 6 months rental can be put towards a different piano of an equal or greater value, please ask for details, an interest free credit option may be available at this time, terms and conditions apply.

Muzio Clementi
Muzio Clementi 23 January 1752 to 10 March 1832 was an Italian-born British composer, pianist, pedagogue, conductor, music publisher, editor, and piano manufacturer. who was the son of a silversmith? the piano firm Clementi eventually became Collard and Collard.
He was encouraged to study music by his father, Muzio was sponsored as a young composer by Sir Peter Beckford who brought him to England to advance his studies in music. Later, he toured Europe numerous times from his long-standing base in London. It was on one of these occasions, in 1781, that he engaged in a piano competition with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Clementi published a highly respected piano method which even Beethoven endorsed him, sending pupils along to Clementi.
