I am a fully qualified piano teacher with 25 years experience. I specialise in teaching adult pupils 18+. I am based in Sutton and Wimbledon, but can travel to all South London/Surrey. All levels taught from beginner to Grade 8 plus.
I have a music degree from London College of Music and studied Masters level composition at Goldsmiths, University of London.
Complete beginners are welcome, as well as those more advanced (grade 1-8/diploma levels are all taught). I particularly enjoy teaching adult students- it is up to you whether you want to play Classical or more popular styles. Lessons are tailored to the individual needs of the student. Exams are totally optional. I have taught many adults with specific needs- such as aspiring music producers/those in bands who wish to acquire basic keyboard skills, or those who just want to learn some basic pop songs.
I also teach music theory, improvisation, and song writing. I can accompany singers for auditions (eg. west end musicals) etc.
Please contact me if you are interested in discussing an initial lesson. Also if you have any questions regarding the tuition.
Note: You are most welcome to meet me prior to start of tuition.

Muzio Clementi
Muzio Clementi 23 January 1752 to 10 March 1832 was an Italian-born British composer, pianist, pedagogue, conductor, music publisher, editor, and piano manufacturer. who was the son of a silversmith? the piano firm Clementi eventually became Collard and Collard.
He was encouraged to study music by his father, Muzio was sponsored as a young composer by Sir Peter Beckford who brought him to England to advance his studies in music. Later, he toured Europe numerous times from his long-standing base in London. It was on one of these occasions, in 1781, that he engaged in a piano competition with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Clementi published a highly respected piano method which even Beethoven endorsed him, sending pupils along to Clementi.
