Sound like what we call a stencil piano one of the big manufactures make blank pianos and shops place their name on them get your local tuner to look at it, it could be a good buy but then it could be a money pit

see...

for more info on stencil pianos

H. P. Nelson piano

Post by Dennis »

Did you ever find out any more about your piano? I had someone give me an H. P. Nelson upright concert grand piano that came out of Chicago, and I am having trouble finding out anything about it. I did find one web site for a Nelson, N. W. and when I typed in the serial number it came up that it was made in 1933-1944. If you have a web site that I might check. I would greatly appreciate it. You can e-mail me direct at dthor2b@comcast.net.
Thanks
