Trying to find serial no. on small Marshall & Rose grand

Hello - A friend of mine in Wales has a small Marshall & Rose grand piano - I hate to call it a baby, though I suppose the name might apply - with a remarkably full tone and an excellent touch. We have been trying to find the serial number on it but have had no luck: we've searched the plate the woodwork (especially the braces) under the instrument, and practically everywhere I can think of. The fallboard reads "Marshall and Rose/Sir Herbert Marshall and Sons." If anyone has any other ideas of where to look we'd be very grateful.

The best person to ask would be your piano tuner. The sereal number sometimes can be found on the key blocks and on the bottom "A" key.

Normal visible places is on the frame, the soundboard in the top treble, the soundboard at the bottom base and bracings underneath the piano.
