PIANO Ā QUEUE?

Post by Bill Kibby »

I feel I should apologise in advance for the fact that I may not be able to respond to forum enquiries because I may not have telephone or internet for a week, thanks to Virgin Media. They got me out of bed this morning to set up their system, but had failed to tell me that they expected to use a cable that was installed some time before 2006. Guess what? It isn't here anymore!

Oui mais......PIANO Ā QUEUE :?:
I was playing the piano in a zoo, when the elephant burst into tears. I said, "Don't you recognize the tune?" He replied, "No, I recognize the ivories!"

Well, weak it may have been, but it expressed the possibility that piano enquiries may end up in a queue... get it? I blame that icon

Virgin Media is reminding me of "The gasman cometh", the first visit was cancelled because it needed a 2-man crew. Today, it's "I don't understand why they booked a 2-man crew"! Who knows if my internet will work today, or whether I will be able to deal with enquiries, or even if this posting will appear.

Why is nothing ever simple?

P.S. It is all done at last! Virgin Media have been no trouble at all (so far) but Sky have made pests of themselves since we decided to leave them. They craftily ended our account on the day after the send out bills, so they charged us for another month, and we have to wait weeks for a refund. Imagine that multiplied over the whole country, they must be raking in a fortune from other people's money. Sorry, this is not piano history, just me moaning about people interfering with piano history!

Peut-etre un three man queue?
Our mission in life is to tune customers--not pianos.

Any fool can make a piano-- it needs a tuner to put the music in it
