Cramer London Upright

Post by Woody »

I have a Cramer London piano for over 60 years and it eas not new when the family bought it. The serial number is 53889. It was sent from England to Newfoundland prior to 1949, and has followed us around ever since. It is dark brown , very heavy, may be mahogany. I am told it may be between 1910 and 1920 . Anyone have any more ideas?

The number suggests that the piano was made around 1918, but dating pianos by numbers is not always simple, and without photos, I can't tell you if the date is likely. Have a look at
