No, I wouldn't say you're nuts, but you need to be aware of some of the dangers. As you said, you bought the essentials - good quality lever, temperament strip and mutes, but no mention of any eye protection! :o I'd say that should be one of the essentials, especially on an old piano, not tuned in y...
