Thank you Barrie - I’ll try reseating it. Seems the issue is where the clasp at the end of the bar on the left sits in with the pin attached to the framework but it’s not as intuitive as it could be

Hello all Is anytime familiar with this piano makeup - more importantly we are trying reseat the highlighted bar correctly as the pedals are not functioning the same as prior to removal. There is metal bar that runs the length of the dampers that ties in the the pedal action on the left hand side. A...

Hello all

Can anyone tell me what this kind of mechanism is referred to as? My friend has the same piano and took this out to tune it but it appears to be incorrectly refitted as the pedals do not operate correctly
