Got a spare copy of Monastery Garden or Persian Market if you want, Dave!
I love the Russian stuff too. From the easier stuff (Liadov, Rebikov) to the tricky (Rachmaninov). And Beethoven's sonatas would be my Desert Island Discs book (with a piano for a luxury) because he contains everything from Bach to Rachmaninov in his sonatas.
Then I love Poulenc - quirky lyrical stuff.
And then (sigh) there's Freddie Mercury...:)

Beethoven all the way for me! 8) Then, in no order: Bach, Chopin, Schumann, Schubert, Haydn, Mendelssohn, Grieg, Piazzolla, Villa Lobos...

Early Romantic/Romantic for me: Robert and Clara Schumann, Claude Debussy (although his music has transitional/modern characteristics). I find Felix Mendelssohn's music is very intuitive to play.
