My piano pupils want to try play on competitions. I am trying to find information but without results. I would be glad for any info about piano competitons for children in the UK.

Many thanks

Many towns have musical competitions for children there is one going on at this very moment in Blackburn for piano it ends tomorrow. The problem most have is getting backing to put on the events
See

Have you ever tried your local borough council for events?

Our town runs a regional Music Festival each year which, in its case, offers children the chance to participate in speech and drama categories as well as music and choral categories. Among these categories or 'classes', there are opportunites for schools and private teachers to enter children for the competition. This is an easy and surprisingly common option. I'm sure you must have something like this in your area.
