Yamaha 70 or DGX620?

Help - I would like to get my son a digital piano I am in total ignorance. I definitely know it needs 88 keys, fully weighted like a normal piano. I thought a Yamaha P70 would be OK but then read that the sound is 'weak'. I can only go up to around £400. Would a Yamaha DGX620 be OK
He plays a 'normal' piano in a style I can only describe as Jamie Cullum meets Jerry Lee Lewis but also plays more gentle tunes. He doesnt read music but composes his own stuff in his head and it comes out OK.
I would be so grateful for impartial advice

Yes get it it does the lot and for a real bargain price

I have one and its truly awesome although if he is young he may want a *keyfob flash drive so he can record stuff on it and put it on his PC - also can connect to his PC via a USB lead (not supplied) i got a 5 mtr one on ebay for 3 bucks

DGX-620 is around 450 but pay that little bit extra - its worth it and a solid piece of kit - even come with a steel bar to bolt under it to prevent flex a sustain peddle and a music stand and a stand

*you can buy these for about 10 bucks anywhere X)
