Boyd Minipiano 1939 - is is worth restoring?

Post by allylyce » 24 Sep 2018, 19:43

We have acquired a lovely 1939 Boyd Mini Royal Minipiano.
Serial No 16031 in a waxed oak case. My son and I play the piano, we wondered if it was possible to refurbish / replace parts on a piano like this? It sounds lovely, but a couple of the key are a bit sticky now.We have the original invoice for £48 -11!

I would get a tuner in to see if it will tune first. He/she will sort out the sticking notes and tell you if it worth spending money on
