1979 Yamaha C3
I understand the Yamaha C3 was first made in 1979? Is this true? I have found a good used model of the 1979 C3 and wanted to know if it’s a good year for this piano and anything to watch out for? Thanking anyone in advance for any advice?
I am in Canada so maybe model years varied by destination?

It all depends on how it's been looked after. Yamaha pianos of that age tend to have Toby basis, the bass strings becoming loose, so they sound dull also badly worn rollers (knuckles USA)
I will get your local tuna to give it the once over. It's cheaper than paying the removals to find out you've acquired a money pit
