Her last lesson today before the exam. It's a good job you need short nails for the piano, hers are chomped to bits now, mine too

Well done, that Cutlet! Which pieces did she play? (I was about to ask what board the exam was for, but then realised you can't get 133% in Trinity or London.Nutroast wrote:Passed with distinction! 133 points![]()

Thanks, Gizzy! She played Allegro, Moody Prawn Blues and Stormy Coast. xgizzy wrote:Well done, that Cutlet! Which pieces did she play? (I was about to ask what board the exam was for, but then realised you can't get 133% in Trinity or London.Nutroast wrote:Passed with distinction! 133 points![]()

Ah, same list as one of mine who wants to do it this summer, but is not going to get entered until she realises that however valid your reason may be for not practising this week - or last week or next week - it's not going to be a get-out clause for not being able to play your pieces.Nutroast wrote:Thanks, Gizzy! Having said that, I had a boy yesterday who I was really regretting allowing myself to be talked into entering for LCM step 2, as he had been making zilch progress, and he turned up and played everything to a good merit level with 2 weeks to go.
