Trying to find new Kawai RX5

Post by osborne1 »

Hi

I have been trying to find a dealer with a new Kawai RX5 in stock but have had no luck yet. I have tried local dealers in Manchester and Leeds with no success.

Ideally, I would like to find a UK dealer with both the RX3 and RX5 so I could compare the two.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Have you tried GSG?

They're near Halifax and advertise plenty of Kawai pianos.

Richard,

Graham (GSG) has a brand new RX2 in stock, feel free to pop in and try that first to get an idea. He doesn't keep in stock every model of Kawai grand (sometimes he has the RX7 aswell) - depends on stock, but have a chat with him - his number is on the website, but the shop is appointment only on Sundays & Mondays. Its about 6 miles off junc 26, M62 - follow signs for Halifax/Shelf.

Very few shops will keep all the ranges of Kawai grands in, due to stock control/ price ranges, and maybe lack of space!!

You could try Peter Smith and Sons in Paisley. I was in a couple of weeks ago (not looking at Kawais) and they had at least three new grands - definitely an RX2 and RX3, and I think the largest was an RX5 but I can't quite remember.

GSG have just got an RX3 in.
I popped through today for some sheet music & piano parts, and I tried it out - its fantastic, worth a visit if nothing else.

Cheers
