I once had a cat that could project her puke over 2' away. It's nice to know we're all good at something :P

RIP Charlie. xxx

Hope you managed to rescue whatever it was that Sarah Jane targetted.

Thats good Dave, didn't you say you were learning another language too?

I started teaching myself Japanese just after starting univerisity, I managed to read Kana and a bit of Kanji ( Chinese characters ), and speak in very broken Japanese. I wanted to go on a course to learn it; but of course I have no money to do the things I want at the moment  . So I have fogoten most of what I knew, but can still read it a bit. :) :(

Sparky, a sad loss to the used piano industry. I did a tuning or two for him over the years, jeeeez, what a cowboy! He used to drill holes through the top of the wrestplank and pour water in to make the pins tighter!

His real name was Sly. How apt.

He snuffed it btw.

Good man, hang on in there. and there's nothing to stop you getting the G3 music; you have the CDs to tell you if you're on the right track. and you can always post an anonymous YouTube so one (or all) of us can give you pointers! And that'd be free! Swop you for Welsh lessons! :D

Stori diddoreb iawn 'da ti! Mae'n rili'n neis i glywed (wel, darllen!) yr iaith allan y wlad, ti'n gwybod does dim llawer o phobol yng Nghymru sy'n gallu siarad yr iaith fel rhywun fel dy hunan, yn cynnwys fi! :P

Fi'n tua gradd 8 ar y piano. Mae gas gen i'r arholiadau, felly fi'n chwarae am bleser (ac weithiau arian!) Mae well gen i ymarfer repetoire, e.e ar hyn y bryd, Sospiro/Leibestraume - Liszt, Arabesque 1 - Debussy, Bach Partita's, etc.Fi'n wedi bod cyfeilydd ers fi'n gallu cofio! Gyda unawdau, deuawdd, cor...
Roeddwn i aelod yr Urdd phan oeddwn i'n ifanc, ond fi'n 19 nawr, a wedi golli'r diddoreb yng nghystadlaeuath. Fi'n astudio Dawns Gyfoes a Ballet, felly does dim lot o amser i neud pethau fel Eisteddfodau. Fi'n symud lan i Leeds yn mis Medi i mynd i'r Northern School of Contemporary Dance, felly bydd ddim amser i canu'r piano o gwbwl! :(

Mae flin 'da fi am y cymraeg! Does dim lot o gyfle i ymarfer yr iaith ers ysgol. Mae wedi bod 3 blynyddoedd ers siaradais i'r iaith fel hwn. Mae'n drist iawn rili, fi wedi gollwng yr iaith yn llawer! :(

Fi'n eitha iawn diolch Dave, a dy hunan?

Mae'n rili rhyfedd i ddysgu bod fy Cymraeg sy'n mor sbwriel! Mae'n annod iawn i wybod fi wedi golli'r iaith dros dim ond 3 blynyddoed. Fi'n gobeithio byddai'n dechrau i pigo lan yr iaith. Byddai'n neud fy ngorau glas o hyn ymlaen i gadw'r iaith yn fyw.

Roedd fy athro'n arweinydd hefyd, a chanais gyda fe yn y cor fel Treble ac phan oeddwn i'n bedwar a ddeg, Countertenor. Oedd cor eglwys, ond oeddwn i lwcus i cymryd rhan yn y cor. Mae'r safon yn eitha dda yno, gyda repetoire gyda Palestrina etc. Ces i wersi piano yn yr egwlys, ac phan oeddwn i'n pum ar ddeg, ces i swydd organ mewn y llan.

Mae'n ardderchog i glywed ti'n wedi cael profiadau dda gyda'r arholiadau, ac mae'n rili ardderchog i glywed y canlyniadau! Da iawn ti a phob lwc gyda gradd 3 hefyd, dylet ti bod yn iawn gyda'r distinction 'da ti :D Addysgais i piano am tipyn o amser, ac doedd y calyniaday'n isod Merit. Fi'n meddwl mae'n bwysig iawn i ddysgu cerddoriaeth allan yr arholiadau, (deuawdau rili bwysig!) i datblygu deimladrwydd cerddorol ac cael amser i ddysgu heb y sang o'r syllabus requirement ond mae neis am eraill i defynyddio'r arholiadau a monitor eu datblygu.

Diolch am y gyfle i aros 'da dy hunan ac dy wraig! Chau! Fi'n gobeithio byddai'n gallu cael sneak mewn y stwidio yn yr ysgol a cael chwarae bach o dro i ddro ;) Ie, fi rili lico Leeds, fi'n eitha cosmopolitan felly byddai'n goroesi. Ond byddai'n golli'r draeth, achos ble fi'n byw ar hyn y bryd sy'n dim ond 5 munud o'r dwr. Fi'n byw rhwng Abertawe a Chaerdydd. Dyna lot o fy ffrindiau ac aeold nheulu'n dod o Bontardawe, felly fi'n myn lan yno a weithiau :)

Shwmae Dave? Ti di mwynhau dy sesiwn am ddoe? Ti di codi dy siopa wrth Iceland yn y diwedd?!

Mae'r ffordd gorau i ymarfer Sightreading? Emynau. Ddysgais i sightreading drwy'r swydd egwlys. Dyna digon o gerddoriaeth i defnyddio yn lyfrau emynau, felly does dim rhaid i brynnu lyfrau arall :) Hefyd, mae'r cerddoriaeth emyna yn helpu di datblygu musical awareness, harmony, structure etc,. Mae'n eitha defynddol hefyd os oeddwn i mewn priodas gyda no show organists! Haha.

Fi'n iawn gyda'r siarad, nid y sgrifennu'n anffoddus. Fi'n gallu deall bopeth ti'n sgrifennu, ond fi'n wedi anghofi stwff fel treigladau a stwff fel hyn. Byddai'n cael edrych am fy lyfrau ysgol, ond bydd y tasg anodd i ddysgu le fi wedi rhoi nhw yn gyntaf :|

Ti'n cywir, fi'n dod o Port Talbot. Fi ddim yn meindio Abertawe, mae'n gweddol. Ond bydd rhaid i mi cytuno, fi well gen i Caerdydd hefyd. Fi'n astudio ar y Bae ar y benwythnow yn y WMC gyda'r Cwmni Dawns Cenedlaethol Cymru (yn gynt Diversions), felly fi'n ar y dren i Caerdydd mwy nag Abertawe. Fi'n lico'r siop cerdd yn y Arcade? Fi ddim yn siwr am Gamlins, fi'n meddwl mae'n dal yno. Fi'n mynd i Castell-Nedd os mae rhaid i fi ymweld a'r siop cerdd.

Helo Dave!

Fi'n credu dy fod ti'n cywir. Es I ysgol cerddorol iawn, a nes i chael fy nghodi lan gyda cerddoriaeth drwy canu a piano. Nes i gystadlu yn eisteddfodau pan oedden i'n ifanc. Cafodd fy'n fam i llwyddiant sawl gwaith yn Llangollen, mae'n thad I'n chwaraer piano, na'th e passio'i gradd wyth a ma fe'n canu mewn cor meibion, fellu ma cerddoriaeth yn fy ngwaed!

Fi mor falch des i dros y bwrdd yma, ma fe'n neis iawn I siarad gyda oedolion sy'n dysgu'r piano, ac I gael rhywle I rhannu profiadau gyda pobl.
