Castor cups

Hi,
Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

I would like to buy some castor cups for my new(ish) grand piano, but I am not sure what size I need. The piano is a Schimmel Konzert 169 and it is on carpet.

Id go for a large type. Wood or metal, its your preferance. The larger castor cup spreads the weight more. If you move the grand and there is a mark in the carpet, use ice on it. It sometimes helps.

I read somewhere that a steam iron on a damp cloth will fluff the carpet fibres back up.

The dents should make good putting practice. I'll have to buy a grand, move it, then take up golf and find out.

This is not TOTALLY relevant but I find B&Q do some good basic castor cups. Some plastic ones and some rubber ones. Better for wood surfaces rather than carpet thought I suppose. But still worth a look. Only about £2 too.

upright 109mm to 118mm in hight 45mm
Uprights 118mm to 132mm 70mm

Small grand Length: (149 cm) 70mm
Larger grands from 186 cm 100mm
