Hamamatsu Paino Company Information

Post by Aro »

I'm looking to purchase a piano from a used piano importer from Japan. He has a couple of Pianos with brand names such as Concert (Serial # 73393), Tonic ect... but the logo on the frame on all these Pianos are Hamamastsu Piano Company Japan. The Piano is almost identical to certain models of Kawai and the seller says it is from the same factory. Can someone please advice me if this could be possible ?

I'd honestly assume that it was a knock off. Especially since it's coming from another country, you wouldn't be able to press charges if it was.
