help please

Post by b19dyl »

Ok here goes.

I have a yamaha keyboard (DGX 505) at home that I tinkle on and have decided that I think the time has come to learn to play as a piano should be played.I have looked for various books etc for learning but they are all aimed at very beginners/kids etc. I am an accomplished musician being a soprano cornet player in a brass band so the rudiments are already there (I think) does anyone know of a book that is aimed at the more errrr experienced musician (sounds better than old) I don't want to jump the queue in playing but ideally dont want to buy a book that will be surplus after a couple of days. I can read treble clef and a little bass clef.

Thanks

Dylan

There is absolutely no substitute for having a good piano teacher until your are at a very advanced level.
