finally purchased new piano

Post by twf »

Hi,I have finally purchased a new piano,it is a Wendl and Lung 161 grand in black,it will be delivered sometime this coming week.Does anyone have an opinion or suggestion as to where the piano should sit in a room which is 22'long and 12'wide(piano5'3").The room already has some furniture in,ie,sofa, chairs,TV,etc. We were thinking of putting the piano at the far end of the room by the French windows, any comments or suggestions would be most welcome,Many thanks TWF.

just don't put it next to any radiators or in full sunlight as that will play havoc with the tuning stability and could cause more serious damage in the long term.

Enjoy your new piano :)
