big hands

yup, I could do with a few of those. I've never liked Rachmaninov as much since learning he could span an octave and a half - no wonder I can't play his damn preludes (though small hands are possibly not the only reason)

Does big hands mean, er, well, you know......

Just wondered if he might have had a special way of dealing with those awkward notes in the middle of cluster chords.

What, big hands = big nose? Yes, suppose you could play 'em with your nose.
That IS what you meant, innit?

I'm working on that right now and wow... I thought I had big hands. I've been told he could manage a 13th!
