Sticker removal

Post by McCanno »

Hi I have a yamaha u1 (polished black). Does anyone know how to remove a dealer sticker successfully? It is positioned on the panel between the keys and lid (where most of them seem to be). I don't want to pick at it and find I am left with a glue residue. Thanks in advance!

Peel it off then use meths or cellulose on a clean cloth to get the glue off. Or wait until its tuned then the tuner can take the pannel off and you can do it with a little more space around it.

IPA cleaner ( Isopropyl alcohol ) is less damaging, sometimes. I would then clean the area with a spray-on computer type foam cleaner to make sure you don't get any surprises a few months later.
