Hansons upright 7366

hi there, can anyone tell me anything about this piano its a HANSONS SERIAL No 7366 CANT FIND ANYTHING ABOUT IT AT ALL.

It isn't that simple. Which Hansons is it? Is it the one in Rugby & Coventry? No dates of serial numbers are available, we have no evidence that they ever made pianos, it is likely that (like so many other dealers) they bought pianos in from anonymous wholesalers, and applied their name to them. Any clues will be inside, so havea look at pianogen.org

Nobody anywhere can trace the life history of ever individual piano.

I just tuned a Hansons (#6295, a bit older than the one mentioned above) and the metal frame said "Hansons: Coventry, Leamington, Nuneaton, Etc." Doubt if Leamington ever had a piano factory, so presumably it was made in Etc.

Is it a Herrburger Brooks action? That would place it between 1920 and the fifties, when the last overdampers were made.
The name appears to be on a separate headbar, not part of the original frame.
