My Knight K10

Post by zsrobmar »

I have brought a Knight K10 secondhand for my family, The shop where I bought it from located it at a college.

The case of the piano has definately seen better days, but to me it sounds lovely.

Please could I have some idea of its history and date wood etc.

The Piano is a Knight K10 behind the bottom board the number stamped on the right is 51247

But on the top right is the number 52503
I have spent a long time on the net looking but the dating, information I once found is missing.

Thank you for all information you can give me.

Knight Piano

Post by 88 Fingers »

I have a Knight piano. The number stamped on the upper right hand side of the sound board is 30940. It has 2 legs that are under the keyboard part but they are decorative. I'm just looking for the age of this instrument. How do you know if it's a K10 or a K20? Are there other models? Round about ball park figure for value?

Thanks.
