Hammer line probably 1 7/8", let off 1/8" shall I go on?...... :)

Don't ask me, I'm still trying to work out what "All sizes are nominal" means in the timber yards! As for american pianos, I have very little experience with them, surely there must be an american pianorak somewhere?
