Spencer Baby Grand

We acquired a Spencer of London Baby Grand years ago and I am interested in knowing what year it was made. The serial number is 89048.

The number suggests that it was made in 1935, but I don't know how accurate that is, there are discrepancies in the published dates. Also, it has been suggested that another factory produced their grands, and this may affect the date, but it is probably 1935.
