Gerhard Adam Wesel
I wonder if it's possible to date my Gerhard Adam 5' grand? It has a serial number 23571, a Langer action number 542828 and a kluge keyboard number 354993.
Thanks

Re: Gerhard Adam Wesel
I have today taken delivery of a Gerhard Adam upright piano which has a serial number of 22249.
Could anyone in the know give an estimate of the date please? Is it early 1920s?
Thanks for your help
Andrew

explains that dating pianos purely on the basis of numbers is often not as simple as it seems.
