Yamaha Country & Year

Post by derek_williamson » 11 Sep 2018, 10:05

Hi there,

I have a Yamaha C110A with an unusual serial number that I'm unable to readily get information on – C33370.

If possible, I'd like to find out the age of the piano and the country where it was made.

I have read elsewhere, but I'm looking to confirm, that the the C110A was produced as a joint venture with Pearl River Piano Group in China and is the cheapest model Yamaha produced.

Any meat you can put on those bones would be much appreciated, particularly age.

Many thanks,

Yes, it was made by Pearl River in China. They are no longer made for outside China. The B1 replaced it which is made in Indonesia

This was the production Serial Number arriving in the UK. at the End of 2004

V114N = E315794
P121N = E312428
P116 = E319356

Pearl River
C110A = C70782
Su118C = 6096212
U3S = 6088517
GC1 = 6094704

GB1 = J2111081

you would need to ring Yamaha UK for a better date
