Steinway grand. Bargain at £336,000

Post by MarkGoodwinPianos »

We currently have a very rare one of a kind 1918 Steinway Model B art case piano available for the first time. This piano was commissioned with Steinway & Sons and Schmieg,Hungate & Kotzian art case piano artisans by world renowned aviator, oil baron, yachtsman, car racer and businessman Harry S. Harkness as a gift for his wife. The piano has incredible provenance and history. Henry Steinway himself said “this piano is a beauty and belongs in a museum”. If you have any collectors or interested buyers please let us know. We of course would pay a referral fee or commission on this beautiful and historical one of a kind instrument should you have a potential buyer. Our Steinway experts tell us that the cost to build this piano in today’s market would be approximately $600,000 to $700,000. We are currently asking $525,000 which is a great value for this instrument with its provenance. We have detailed information on this instrument and its incredible history on our website.

Actually I wouldn't give it house room; I know one shouldn't be concerned with the case, but I couldn't live with that gross object!
I play for my own amazement... :piano;
