Me toooooo....I'm just packing Crimbo in a box to go to my poor friend marooned in Florida. You wouldn't believe the stuff the septics don't have....plain flour, glace cherries, salt and vinegar crisps, Remegels ( ), Christmas pud, crackers, sultanas, sherbet fountains, Cadbury's, stilton....the place is a cultural desert. AND their robins are deformed - I had to find a proper shaped one for the top of her cake. So what with that and having had a flurry of Christmas shopping on QVC AND having booked in all my Christmas church service organ gigs, I'm feeling v. festive now. Nuts, anybody?

She gets proper English telly beamed in or something; septic telly is dreadful, apparently - makes ours look like Nobel winning stuff!

Tell 'em Father Christmas doesn't come to naughty cats.
Bad news re your poor neighbour; but my brother was made redundant at 60 this April and has just got a job with a local firm who are 'fed up with useless graduates'. There is hope out there.

My customer gave me a confection she made up herself - a cross between a mince pie and an Eccles cake...we called it a mincle pie. It was v.v. good!

Krakow is amazing Dave Brum, I went last year in April and experienced Auschwitz, and wow what an experience, I've never felt such sadness in all of my life, I couldn't comprehend how cruel the human race can be!The city itself is very old and so beautiful, I would highly recommend going if you get the chance!

Well you can always quote the pissed Bishop of (I think) Southwark; 'Because I'm a Bishop and this is what Bishops do...' as you throw stuff around drunkenly... Have a merry one, everyone!
