Hi all, new here

Post by aesir22 »

Hi everyone,

Just thought I would introduce myself :) I'm Dan, I just sat my grade one piano on Monday and I think (hope) it went well! I am looking at grade 2 pieces now (sad as it is, when people say take a break and play for fun after a grading, I find looking at the new technical skills in new pieces fun!). I am struggling along with Eric Clapton, Wonderful Tonight. I like the piece. The first four bars are easy enough. The right hand is easily manageable...its the left hand thats going to be a bit of a pain to get my head around :D. I also like the look of gypsy dance, because of the speed I am hoping it will build dexterity.

I'm also learning the violin, and start a music degree next year (hopefully will get me out of pharmacy!!!!)

Anyway, just thought I would say hi. Good luck to all the others here who are awaiting results :)
