I like the look of the new pages Barrie. Not so keen on adverts when opening a thread but perhaps it is helpful for other reasons.

I would love to get rid of the adverts. however, they are a necessary evil to keep the site going.

the pop-up ones are a big pain I will see if I can remote that part

In general, forms are in decline since about 2015 as more move over to Facebook the forums heyday was around 2000 to 2015 before forums it was newsgroups and listserves in the 90s they are now mostly gone. Yahoo as now dropped its listserves. Facebook will die or dwindle off as the younger ones are not using it, they're using other platforms it's just the natural selection of the Internet.

I only tend to look at Facebook on a Sunday morning
