Thats funny there was a second page to this topic were I did say how my lesson went but its vanished! :shock: :o It went ok, its wasn't my best ever lesson, but i'm more into my lessons now as I'm more used to having them, and have new a teacher. :)

You may find that you and your teacher will have to do some plugging up however as there is more to Grade 2 than the pieces. New time signatures, key signatures are introduced at this level not to mention sight-reading lines of development. Moving cold to this from Grade 1 without any bridging work...

So its a slight crescendo up to let's say mf by the time we get to the E, then another crescendo up to an ff see now I wouldn't go as loud a ff ! in Kummer. Oh, the book have been thoroughly revised to coincide with the new piano syllabus. I have the 2009 edition and its very different from your copy, Anna! Oh no ! that means I need to go and get the NEW book then! :roll: . Another excuse to go into a music shop :wink: . I suppose sight reading anythin...
