Re: Yamaha to close down Bosendorfer?
Even if they have a five year commitment, I see that as being given five year's notice rather than having a five year contract. Absolutely. Yamaha are not in the charitable sector as far as I know. I would be disappointed to see Austrian production closed down, but just how many of these expensive ...

I used to play one in a school in Chippenham a lot (a big grand). It was actually pretty terrible when I first encountered it due to atrocious setup, but a couple of days' work by a top tech had it nicely under control and pleasant to play. A-Frame for school C3
Hi all,
Our school C3 is very difficult to wheel around on the old wooden floor. I can't imaging this is doing the piano any good (certainly not the floor). I suspect it needs an A frame. Can anyone recommend someone to advise on/fit one in the Midlands.
Thanks,
MV

Getting a stool renovated
Hi,
My school's piano stool needs doing up. It's potentially quite nice - adjustable and upholstered in fake leather. It needs:
Making shiny black
Re-upholstering
The top is a bit loose.
Anyone who can do this in striking distance of Derby? Or should I just get a new stool?
Cheers,
