tuners are reluctant often to raise the pitch on an old joanna for the following reasons; 1) It takes at least 3 tunings with the consequent cost. 2)It may not stand in the long run 3) strings may break 4)The worst case; the frame may crack. Bentley is ok. Had new one with some sticking hammers. Took about hour to re-locate butt screws after removal for re-centreing.. They are sort of half woodscrew half metal thread and have to be lined up in all planes- an absolute nightmare .

Kawai " Elite" dealer means that they can lose the franchise if not up to scratch. They also have to keep a good range of models in stock
Loch Ness Pianos in Inverness are also elite dealers and are the oldest family piano dealers in Britain ( since 1825!). Good prices given. delivery anywhere
