grade 3? i did step one piano exam and i t was good , examining man was a wierd strange thing talking to me like I was stupid! but no score as yet. i will post my score once my teacher has it,.

I like the apps where you have to name notes fast in the clefs. its like sight reading with one note to work out. Good for us newbies, I searched music theory and it was f :mrgreen: ree

will keep my little keyboard for now! exam was £25 its only a 5 min jobby but I`m too poor to care! And yes my partner gets DLA and mows the lawn but then he is not seen galavanting around and about the town drinking beer! oh and piano wise I can play sunny day from my exam book without music. exam in 2 weeks and very excited about doing piano exam even with 2 lessons a month for now! I will not buy a piano until I have cleare d my debts jkl

oh my sight reading books - are for kids but she says they work well as fun and structured, pauline hall, its a blue one with little symbols. love it and will do a few each morning b4 work and then the rest afterwards. she says I could be doing pre graded one exam by xmas :? :shock: :o :? :( :) :D 8...

Yeah I got a job - 10 years not working and someone had faith in me so booked piano lessons - trial one this morning and she started me on sight reading from the minute I sat down! have that, beginner adult book and theory to get on with. task master one thinks :) she says sight reading is mind over...
