HI Heidi, I am new to the world of piano and have just got to surf into this forum. Would like your help on:- You had made reference to "The Piano Book" Where can I view this on the internet or do I need to get a hard physical copy? Who is the writer, publisher, price & etc....??

I have just read the replies posted by Joyce & Gill. I am 63 and have just started to learn playing the piano from scratch by hearing. What are the Hanon. the Czemy and the Wieck you are refering to? Are they easily available on the internet or can any one help?

Removing Glue
I find that using a small amount of pure olive oil on a piece of cotton and dap over the patch of glue for a while and then use very gentle rub in single direction will do the job. Do not use back & forth action as the dissolved glue will be brought back during the return stroke. Try it see if i...
