1905 Vertical strung - underdamper upright piano with an inlaid case, this piano has a break in the centre of the piano which is unusual as most piano have a bass break and a treble break, also the action has a costa spring on the jacks ( see photo below ) as well as a jack spring, this gives the action a far superior repetition than normal uprights the piano also has agrafs throughout yet: the keys have no bushing in the balance. This piano action was sympathetically overhauled in May 1990 by Barrie Heaton, the string are original and the piano is up to pitch. The piano belongs to Mrs. Story, Lancashire, England.
