This piano has been advertised here before but due to my ignorance and failure to look at the advice given by the site I almost fell for a vicious scam from Nigeria. My piano is a Kriebel German instrument made in the 1920's, the serial number is 20428. It is in wonderful condition and would just need tuning by a new owner. It has a gorgeous rich tone and the craftmanship of the woodwork and the superior fittings would be extremely difficult to find today. This piece needs to be owned by a true music lover and would grace any music room. The keyboard is pristine and the music rest is engineered to glide comfortably back under the front lid. It comes with a long piano stool with lots of space for music inside. I have already wasted months with the last scam situation and our move abroad draws close, in that event I am reducing the price (which should have read £3500 originally - I typed in the wrong figure) I am now looking for sensible offers around £2700, buyer to collect. Lovely upright piano for sale. It has been well looked after, but as it is not being played much at the moment, we need to sell for the space. The piano is from 'Harper of London' (Harper Piano Co. Ltd, Holloway, London) and although the date of manufacture is not written on the piano, it probably dates from somewhere around 1910-1930s (from information I have been able to compile on the web). Apart from a few scratches, a slight mark on the bottom of the right leg and a slight tear in the backing material, the piano is in very good condition. ALL the keys are in good working order, and the pedals all work well. The piano plays very nicely. The dimensions are 55" (length) x 46" (width) x "47" depth. Please note that the buyer will need to collect.
