As a musician and mum of three, I teach harp and piano from home during the week and on Saturday mornings.

I teach all ages; currently taking on piano beginners as well as harp (lever and pedal). Exams can be taken if desired although I place a strong emphasis on enjoyment.

With younger pupils I introduce a wide variety of styles, whereas older pupils and adults are able to play an increasing role
in their own development, learning music which appeals to them.

In addition to repertoire and technique I also highly value open ended creative improvisation, which results in independent musicians.

I believe my greatest strength to be my enthusiasm for playing which I think is infectious. I greatly appreciate the opportunity to introduce music to young children from age 5 and above, constantly striving to meet them where they are today.
